Do you want everything new or willing to buy used parts? If your willing to buy used parts off of here your $800 will go ALOT further. There are lots of good lightly used parts for great deals. But if your gonna go new with $800 I would definetly say 88cc bore kit, heavy front springs, tall bars, and a good rear shock, maybe some wide foot pegs and a tall seat. Your pretty much tapped close to $800 there.

Well if you want just a backyard bike, I'd suggest going with this setup. Its perfect for a backyard ripper. Also a very fun bike haha I just took off my mod 50 parts (zokes, +4 swingarm, billetware frame) to go back to a stock bike as a backyard ripper.

-Rear shock (any good aftermarket company - Ishock, Elka, Works, Fox... etc)

- Tall Bar Kit ( Really helps the handling of the bike, better suited for an adult)

-Tall seat or Stock seat with gripper cover ( either or really, just preference of the rider)

- HD springs for stock forks ( Really helps for jumps/bumps for an adult rider)

-88 kit ( not needed but you can get some cheap kits that will wake up your stock motor)

Really thats all you need for a good backyard bike. Hope this helps

ok guys,

here's what im thinking for the 50

*fiveoracing stiffer fork springs

*T3 minis shock

*BBR handlebar kit

*pro circuit T-4 exhaust

*T3 minis tall seat

or should i go with a klx?
i recomend u find some buddies and tool around their bikes then buy the right bike but we cant answer that 4 u. and ur in a honda forum so CRF all day. but in the end of the day a big diff between the 2 is the 50 has a 10" rear and the klx has a 12".

yea i want a crf, but im afraid i wont be able to get it tall enough for me to even ride, im 5'9" and i just turned 13 2 weeks ago.

he just turned 13, give him a break. listen bud i ride both a stock/mod klx and a crf70 with an 88. im taking the 70 down to be a 10/12 wheel set instead of 12/14. my klx is obviously a 12/14 and is a smoother ride with those wheels. me personally for some reason, i have more fun on the crf bikes and 10inchers are fun bikes!! my 6 year old son just started riding klx stockers but has his own semi-beefed up 50. he has fun cruisin the 110 but LOVES his 50..if i was to give you advise id say if you want a fun ride you feel everything on stay crf with the 10inch and if youd rather have a smoother ride with a bulkier body go klx.

id look here on planet for good condition used parts and get way more for you money! find a nice beefier front end, bars, rear shock maybe swinger if you have the cash available then, also cdi box, foot pegs, extended shifter and a skidplate ..go with an 88kit..i have 2 bikes with the bbr 1 and i love em.

I hate 110's...IMO if you ride a 110 why dont you just ride a NORMAL big bike like a 250F or 450F. Thats why I have a couple RM-Z450`s and CRF50`s. But back to the point.

With that budget I would get some new and some used. Used chassie parts New Motor Parts.

Big Bar Kit

i-shock w/res

+1 Fork Tubes n HD Springs OR Used BBR SP-5

Trail Bikes 88 Kit

HD Pegs and Mounts

CRF70 Swingarm or Used +2 or +3 Swingarm

And that right there should be under your budget if you buy used and find the deals that are out there! Keep us posted with your build!
