here is the problem. im really relying one you all to help me. im so stressed out. losing sleep over this. yesterday i went riding my bike and right before going off a jump, i burped the throttle and it sputtered. and almost looped out. it continually did this everytime i would get on the throttle then let off then hammer it again! there is a sliight sputter or pop. what the heck is going on. iv re-jetted several times. in both lean and richer directions plus adj. the fuel screw at the bottom of the carb. im really needing some help guys. i almost killed myself cause of this. READ LAST REPLY THAT I TYPED PLEASE

main: 105

pilot: 20

fuel screw: 1 turn out

needle: 2nd from bottom

I had an XR200 that used to do that, the idle jet isn't in the bottom of the float bowl and would get uncovered over a jump, I pushed a piece of rubber hose over the jet to extend it down to the bottom of the bowl so it always stays in the fuel, make sure you leave some clearance for the fuel to go up it on the bottom.

^^^ ok we are getting somewhere. at least everyone is recognizing my problem. i have the stock flywheel. No IRK. my bike is a G2moto 125r4 with a jailing 125 motor. its got port and polishing, FmF 4.1, lightened oil slinger, high comp piston. and thats it. My fuel is fresh 91 octane. And the motor is only a year old. with maybe 10 hrs on it. iv checked float bowl, its perfect.

we still havent solved the problem yet. Anyone?????

^^ can you explain more or put up pics. not really understanding

Take your float bowl off and look, the main jet is on a long extension that sits it in the bottom of the bowl. The idle jet is alongside it, and is up higher, and it can get uncovered, especially if your float level is low. Make it so that the idle jet gets it's fuel from the bottom of the bowl.

^^ ill check it out. but i gotta tell you. my bike does this sputtering even when im on a smooth road. ill hold it WOT then let off then get back on it and it will sputter. it does it more so when when im on the track were bumps are, before i go off jumps, and when i get on the throttle when i land a jump.

Ok, i put some hose in the carb connecting the pilot jet and this spout that is connected to the choke. im not sure if im doing this right. i rode it for bout 10min yesterday. it seemed to have cleared up the sputterinh. it didnt miss a beat. But now when i get off the throttle then get on it right-a-way a puff of bluish/white smoke comes out. and it does it everytime. the smoke smells like fuel. So what am i doing wrong?

Do you have any kind of breather on the overflow tubes?? I had one like that and it would not let the fuel flow out the overflow tube..
