nice bike man, only thing im not likin is the few gold parts, ie: the chain guide, skidplate, and clamps. otherwise it looks awesome

Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the gold either and was planning on black originally. But, I got a good deal on the forks and they came with gold clamps so I debated on it and finally decided to go with the gold skidplate and chain guide to tie it all together. I was skeptical about it at first but once it was all together I liked it. Now that it's all together I wouldn't have done it any other way. But, to each his own.

About the only thing I'm not too pleased with is the White Bros. R4 pipe. I love the sound but it didn't fit right with the Sik50 frame and hit the subframe so I had to make a little drop bracket for the rear mount. It works fine and is solid so I guess I can live with it but it drops the pipe down lower than I would have liked asthetically.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I got everyting finished last night and got it started. I think it took three kicks to light her up the first time and it idled perfectly after just a few blips of the throttle. After the first time though, it statrted first kick. I didn't really get a chance to ride it though because of the rain but I just slowly ran it up and down the driveway a few times to check the clutch engagement and just basically because I couldn't help myself. I can't wait until it dries up enough to get this thing broken in and see how it runs. Will this damn rain ever stop?

on the pipe just space it out from the frame with a spacer behind the mount and use a longer bolt as it aint the pipes falt its the frames they all vary and i run into the same problem as you did alot

yeah i had the same problem, i had a bunch of washers, but now i made a spacer, and it solved my problem for the most part.

Ah hell, now you tell me  J/K Actually i did a bit of both. I made my drop bracket out of 1/4" aluminum with two holes 3/4" center to center. The top hole mounts to the sub-frame with the supplied bolt and I threaded the lower hole to accept an 8mm bolt for the exhaust and then added a nut on the back so that it is sorta double nutted for security. So basically the exhaust is spaced out 1/4" and down 3/4". Of course this meant that the exhaust now touches my new right side number plate so I then made a neat little stand-off bracket that keeps the plastic from touching and melting. It all works but I may look at it again and see if I can just space it out and not down. Thanks for the tip.
