Question on 50 mods

I am buying a crf50 tomorrow

Me and my fiance are gonna mod it out..

Now i have had a 50 before

I just want some input on what i should get..

Now this is what im planning on putting on it..

Suspension (on old 50, had sp5 with ishock n +2 inch swingarm)

BBR sp-5 forks

Fox air shock

+4 inch swingarm

Debating on weather i should get a better frame than the stock one..

Engine is where i have most of my questions

should i get 88cc without race head

88cc with race head

Or stroker kit

i want something that will last and reliabele with as little changing pistons as possible.. and i am not looking to race in any specific class

and if i get the 88cc kit wit or without race head.. should i go with a 26mm carb

and also should i get a hv oil pump?

Id say get the 88cc kit with racehead and get a TB stroker crank to make it a 108cc and it will RIP.. also get some big bars, big pegs, extended brake and shifter, etc.

88cc with race head, yes on oil pump and get a better frame. Stock ones are short and will bend in time. A 26 carb is kinda big for an 88, go with a 20 to 24.

yeah for $349 TB has the entire kit with everything you need, cdi rev box, carb, head, 88 kit, gaskets, jets, high volume oil pump, the whole shabang...cant go wrong reliable and great performance.

what about this

Fast Frame/Swingarm Combo CRF50 & XR50

with the 3.5 inch swingarm

anyone know how good this is

or should i buy a different frame... like the

Red Baron Chromoly PRO Frames XR50/CRF50

or

Sano Cradle Mount Frame - CRF50 Blue

I love the big bike style swingarms, once you've ridden on them its pretty tough to ever ride the stock "A" style swingarm/shocks again.....I could never go back to the A style

+1 on the 88c /w rh but keep it a 20mm carb, i have a 22mm and its a night mare, im going back to the 20mm

Marzocchi Fork

was thinking of getting that frame combo with these forks

anybody know if they good combo.. and if i will still need high bars with them.. looking at the picture it hows regular bars...

input if this is a good idea would be nice.. thanks

That frame combo is pretty good, and Marzocchi Fork are the best, so all in all that should work out great.

dont forget ur HD clutch springs and ur rimlock. also u dont seem very budget restricted so u might want to throw in a 4 speed drum while u r that far in the motor....

YES

And vince is right you will have your clutch off for the oil pump, just throw in some heavy duty clutch springs, and heavy duty clutches. Or just add a cultch kit.

I have 4 gears and I never use 4th, maybe once in a while, but Im always in 2nd or 3rd
