Just out of curiosity, has anyone else broken a kickstarter gear in a Lifan 150. We have a brand new one and apparently already broke a gear...

I had around 200 miles on one of my street motards with a lifan 150 before I tore it down to mod it for the akunar 57mm high comp. piston. The trans kickstart and crank all checked out to be mint..

Kinda figured.
What broke is the small gear behind the clutch basket. If I had to name it, a "kickstarter actuator gear". 2 teeth are missing.

yea but Honda has exstensive $$ spent on R&D
