New to the pit bike thing just bought a orion x-5 125cc. Got it out yesterday and it was a really good time. Lacked the power I was hoping for and told would have. I pawned it off on the wife and bought a motovert 160cc last night. Hope this will be better. Would you guys reccomend putting a aftermarket hydraulic clutch on . Thanks in advance

I think hydro clutches are all personal preference. They are smooth and consistent, but I think cable clutches are better IMO. I have an 09 vert, it is awesome!

I dont think they work well on high hp motors.... Seems like they dont release fast enough

Not really sure on pit bikes, but on KTM's they work great. And those are some high HP motors.

Hydraulic clutches don't have the same feedback in the lever as cable (true of any clutch on any vehicle). Go with some heavier clutch springs for more grip if you need it.

I ride ktm's and still don't like them
