agreed!! global warming is mostly due to solar activity, it's been observed over the past centuries...

global warming due to human activity claim is a mean to convince people to pay more carbon tax... that's only the begining. But somebody will have to pay for the trillion of $ injected in the economy... american and european tax payers!! thru carbon tax

Scaring people with so called terrorism and global warming is an effective way to force people to leave some of their liberties... this is the policy western countries keep on using since 2001 to control us!

Only my opinion... but the G20 resolutions recently taken in London only promote this type of policy.

You guys in the US have a strong "freedom incentive" and american politics manipulates you thru the mass media, in order to frighten most of people and reduce room for liberties...

By far, and with NO reasonable argument, MANKIND is the largest threat to the well-being of the planet, and the American is 8 times worse than the average Earthling.

Add in erosion, habitat destruction, stream pollution and all the other ecosystem nightmares, and the off-roader is violating the planet at an alarming rate.

Politics ask us to reduce our consumtion and stuff. I'm from France, as some of you may know, we output most of our electricity from Nuclear plants.

Nuclear plants production has been supervised by the state during the past 30 years. Today there is a covered scandal about the nuclear garbage that has been hidden in the nature in France. This has been covered by the government. Do you think they were not aware about the risk? nah

Most of our rivers in Europe are poluted with chemicals cause of the bug industries... and stuff.

Corporates do not have any law enforcement since they operate at a supranational level (they are above the laws), we the people have to respect national regulations, which is normal.

What I mean here is it's always easier for our governments to make us pay and enforce the law...

i only say that because I am in the oil and gas business and I DON"T work for big oil , I work for the largest independent E&P company, which is seeing all kinds of back lashes from his big plans, that are ridiculous....but whatever, I guess McCains big plans for popping up nuclear plants like McDonalds wasn't really good either

Plain and simple, I have made my decision based on the facts I have seen. I have not seen any facts that show global warming even exists, so I do not believe in it. I could go on for pages on why not, everything from how the polar ice cap grew 30% in the past 2 years, to how the earth goes through fluctuations. But then this would go on forever, people would fight more, etc.

Let's keep whether or whether not global warming exists on the backburner for later, do you guys think.... this new outlook in emissions will hurt us as riders?
