well i put it on the studs without the piston in and put the 2 side bolts threw it and tightened on them and it started sucking it in so i think itll fit. i lost one of the wrsitclips though pulling the piston off so im on hold till i find it
 
Dude, just graba rubber mallet and gently massage it in. When I built mine it was exactly the same way, almost seems like it wont fit, but its just a damn tight fit, it will go in though.
 
Ok... As you tap it in, something's gotta move. Will it be the sturdy cases, or the whisper thin spigot? You'll be pinching the piston, creating a hot spot, and shortening it's life exponentially. Hammers are for knock-off carbs, not precision cylinders... IMSLTHO

current set up is



143 big bore

race head

VM26mm carb

twobros exhaust

tb 55mm crank

tb 4th gear

08 output shaft

lightened flywheel

tb manual clutch with the ring



im looking to get a primary gear and a fmf factory 4.1 next.
