I was going to buy a new pit bike to chase my kid around the minitrack but now i am not sure . one of the honda dealers is selling 2008 crf150r for $ 3500 . oth and a new pit bike is around $ 2000. / $ 2500 . so dads what do think ?

I beg to differ. The 150r is pretty gnarly and will leave you sore chasing a kid around a pitbike track all day. Too much power meaning more throttle control required. That bike is meant to be opened up on long straights and big jumps, not to be babied on a mini track.
