I want a midsiaze. Should I get the Medina Mini SX 12" for about 1350 shipped, or get a 2002 KLX 110 for 700 with Baja Light kit, and get a big bore and manual clutch with the extra 650? What do you think?

It's amazing how many people bash the 2002 models, my brother has had one for 6 years now and it gets beat on pretty bad with No Problem's to it it at all. I know it has a lot of odd stuff in the motor vs the newwer models, but he has 143 kit with TB V2 head and clutch kit and it works fine!

I found a 2006 with Baja light kit for $900, child ridden 4 0r 5 times a year. Good Deal?

I will do a plug chop, check darkness of the oil, check the smell of the gas, and check the airfilter, are there any other inspections I can do to get insight into the history of the bike?

look for cracks at the motor cases and the footpegmounts and if the oil drainscrew is tight.mounting any other light with 35w is also no problem.

i think 900 is not bad, depends on the condition and unmodded kids ridden bikes are the best choice i guess.

Everyone says to get the KLX, but why? The other bike has a stronger engine and better suspension? What actually makes the Kawi better? I would have to spend serious money to get it to the level of a SSR as far as frame and suspension and engine.

go medina roller for the $850 or so,buy the best engine you can get and bigbore/mod it before installing.or you can build a klx for twice the $

What's that mean?

because you mentioned the baja light,if you want a headlight on your klx you can wire any other lightmask, polisport ect. up to 35w with no problems.

klx is pretty reliable and modding them is almost as much fun as riding them,if you want it cheap and complete buy the roller.
