ok let me rephrase that, legally it cant be one, you know it says not for on highway use right on the headtube right?? your bike (110) has either dual reg. = 2 titles which equals double registration fees.thats doesnt really matter but its another thing or is registered as a scooter and it has limitation on when and where and how fast it can be riden. both of my minis are registered as motorcycles and have been verifed by officers that have pulled me over on both.i have a 2005 110 thats plated to...it wasnt done legally but it was done... to the average buyer, it cant be done, its a hassel and for most isnt worth the time..thanks for nothing though...

Actually both our bikes are registered as motorcycles. Dual reg is not required when you do it that way because the plate supercedes a sticker. And no they are not registered as scooters. They are also 100 percent legally done, I am a cop, I know the process inside and out. I ride it to work and the motor cops at the station tripped out, checked the plates and paperwork and asked me to do their bikes too

take it for what its worth, reguardless its a law stating its illegal. im sure since your a "cop" a legit one at that it can not be done. you must know all the rules.

thanks for the compliment..

please show me this law you speak of. What California vehicle section is it? I'm telling you it dosent exist. Everyone just hears all these Internet rules and rumors. There are several legal loopholes for this state and it's even easier to do in other states. You have no clue what you're talking about.

here you go, http://www.arb.ca.gov/enf/advs/advs319.pdf

"Any off-highway motorcycle purchased after December 31, 2003 is not eligible for on-highway or dual use registration unless the manufacturer originally certified the vehicle to meet the California on highway emission standards."

im not trying to get into a bitching war with you, im just saying good for you if you can "twist" the law...
