Ok, finally got the pics developed and scanned.

Here is my CRF70F, #77, Ambulance Chaser, as it sits right now. The dope in the leathers is me, Ambulance Rider, in full regalia sans my Icon armor vest.

#77 after mounting the Pitster Pro front end. The front number plate isn't fully secured, a grip is missing, and I'm using a different intake/carb/throttle. Good pics still though.

Action shot time, me leading the crew off the line and through the front sweeper.

Taking the inside line and drag racing the front sweeper against another 70.

Puck Check!

Throttle pinned, focused on the task at hand.

I'd like to thank Moto Milano, and TBolt for stepping up with sponsorships and support. (Stickers will go on soon Vince, promise! :p ) I'd also like to give a big thanks to AHP for the help he's provided, along with crazy fast turn around times on orders.

The photos were all taken by my PR person, my girlfriend, so you can thank her for the large swaths of bandwidth I'm chewing up showing these off. : )

Yeah, I'm hooked baby!

what size tires are you running- i just purchased some

pilot sc s but i think they are going to be to big for my xr70!!

they are 120x70x12 front and 130x70x12 rear!! are these to big???

I'm running Dunlop TT91 120/80R12's front and rear. The Pilots will fit I believe, but the smaller sidewalls will suck them in too much, leaving a poor profile.

The bike is called Ambulance Chaser as the rider is nicknamed Ambulance Rider. I picked that up after being the first to have the EMS team halt a race, order me not to move, and give me a full inspection inside the wagon.

I got staged between two 110's on the front row for a race, and when we launched, I got pinned between them as the pack narrowed down on the front sweeper heading for the first tire. I was pulling good but couldn't quite get in front of either, and as they got closer I got twitchy. Three quarters of the way through the front sweeper, I hit my bars on the rider to my right, and flipped the bike. It landed on top of me, after sliding on the front fender and bars, and two bikes used me as a ramp. One of them hit their shifter on my arm, bending the shifter around in a 'U' while giving me a nice mark that's still faintly there after 4 weeks.

Because of this, and a visit there on my own to get some gauze to pad a prior wound, my nickname was chosen, Ambulance Rider. Since then I've been trying to find ambulance stickers to put on the side of the bike, one for each visit.

Looks like fun Kurlon. Tell your girlfriend nice pics. I hope to be joining you up there in the next couple weeks when my motarded Z50 is finished. I hope to stay out of the waambulance  Is that going on all summer? How much track time do you actually get on a friday night?

Nice, it'll be good to start seeing some variety out there. I keep wanting to build a bike based on a ST/ZB frame to change things up.

http://www.southernmainekarting.com/schedule.php

'cording to the schedule, we race this friday and next, have a break, then switch to some saturdays and sundays.

Welp, we get 1 practice for 10 laps, 1 heat for 10 laps, and 1 main for 20 laps each night, for each class, so double that if you have a 70, or a 70 and 110 so you can run both. (You'll get the two practices even if you only have a 110, we don't separate them by class.) It doesn't sound like much, but you'll be beat by the end, especially running both classes. : )

What's left to do on that Z50? I'll turn a wrench to help get it out there. And if the bike's not ready, toss it in the truck and get a pit pass anyways so you can check things out and have people oooh and ahhh at your project. : )
