Can you post some close up pics of the rear brake switch on your Z? Im going to weld a bracket for my 73 Z and wanted to get an idea of how high/low to tack the bracket to the frame.

I've done exactly what you are wanting to do. I used a Honda Monkey chrome footbrake assembly, but you can use the OEM K3-78 assembly as well.
See attached pics. You want to make sure you position the bracket so it doesn't hit your swingarm. Since I'm running an aftermarket swingarm, I made sure there was a couple of mm clearance. Sorry for the pics, I just ran out in the dark garage and snapped a couple.
You'll have to eyeball location to work for your application/swingarm.
