Ok i had no compression in my bike so me and my dad went into the garage to take a look. we took the starter shaft out and where it goes in is cracked in three spots... uuhh. i need a new right case. how much is that

They're about $120 retail. When you get one, you might as well do a 4th gear drum while you're in there if you don't have one, a main bearing, and what ever other bearings are pressed into that case half. --L*64

Isn't that the left case half the side that the ignition is on? Because the kick starter shaft goes all the way threw to the left side.
The left case half is around $50 but you also need two bearings and two seals. But you could use one of your old bearing and the old seals if you can get them out. But your going to have to buy the small needle bearing for sure the rest of the stuff on that case half you can reuse.

I had to get a new case cover and it was only like $50. And I only had to buy one and not the pair.
