I just bought a takegawa cable clutch off my friend and it doesnt have the spring that goes right near the case. its the srping that makes it harder to pull in and i dont know if it is bad for it not to have that spring or not. and id like to get one anyway so if anyone out there has one..i want it. thanks mxmike28

You don't have to run the spring. It's not gonna hurt anything at all.
The spring they supply is basically so that your clutch lever doesn't go bouncing around if you have alot of free play.
Keep the freeplay to a minimum and you'll be fine. Or you can go down to a bike junk yard and steal it off another engine. They are pretty common.
