which one should i go with and do knee braces give any shin protection as well or are they mainly just to prevent specific injury to the knee? also which ones of either do you guys recommend? i was looking at EVS's new vision knee braces that look pretty nice for the price.

I ride in knee braces.
I also ride big bikes so ive been using knee braces for years but i figure i probably put my foot down more on my 50 then on my big bike so i would expect to mess my knee up on a 50 more then a big bike.
Some knee braces offer shin protection some dont.
Knee braces and neckbraces are two things alot of people dont wear but they are something i will never ride without.

after my knee surgery i rode with a donjoy kneebrace specificly for mx and it had a removable kneepad/shin guard. but i didnt like it so as soon as i healed i switched back to knee/shin pads. p.s. i might not have needed surgery if i was wearing a brace at the time, but then again i still ride without it.
