so, does this mean in the stock mod class.... if you come with a stroker... you can race but have to have it changed by next year???
That will be such an awesome class. I wish that I was 18, I'd be all over it! I think I was as fast on my mod TTR125 as I am on my 250F's and 450F's.
No joke... I wish it was the same for the Youth classes. I'm going to ride 10" and 12" Youth already, but it sure would be cool to get the opportunity to race three or four bikes.
It kinda looks like the stock mod class you can have a stroker crank for 2009 but not in 2010??? cause it says that you have a grace period to 2010

This Class is for KLX/DRZ110, CRF70 and TT-R90 /110, Motorcycles Only. – Must be 18 years of age or older as of race date. The following items must remain “Bone Stock”: Engine cases, Engine head and cylinder (No AFTERMARKET aluminum heads allowed, no cylinder spacers allowed), carburetor (re-jetting is allowed. Choke must remain on carb), carburetor manifold, engine appearance (do not paint or coat cases), frame, swingarm, forks, wheels hubs (10” only front and rear), brakes, fuel tank. (Stock cylinder can be bored/ ONLY stock cylinders allowed!)
Bikes can be modified by changing or adding the following parts: Upper triple clamps, handlebars, grips, brake cable, throttle cable, kill-switch, throttle assembly, sprockets, graphics, tires, piston, rings, exhaust system, clutch springs and plates (clutch must remain fully automatic, NO manual clutches allowed) CDI box, air filter, fork springs, rear shock, chain, sprockets, foot pegs/mounts, skid plates, rims and spokes, shifter and brake lever, seat covers and foam, plastic (i.e.: fenders, shrouds, number plates can be replaced in color only- must have white backgrounds). Practice time TBD

damn the Z class looks dope i just might have to make the trip for that. Seems like it would be mad fun. How you guys think they will check the stroke of the motors? there something you can put in the plug hole to check that?
What is the point of a tech inspection if they won't do anything about it if you are stroked? I'm confused...

why not use use stock displacement in the stock class. I dont see why they bother calling any class a stock class if they dont put displacement limits on. Thats where they needs to focus rules put displacement limits on. just flustrating. glad the rules at the tracks i have been to are vastly different.
after reading more of their rules they seriously need to have different ppl make the rules. like the Z class u cant have spokes? why? if you can find an 8" rim to run spokes why not. dumb rule

These rules are different from the original ruling of you can do what ever you want as long as it looks stock from the out side..

personally i think that is dumb. If they are gonna have all these rules, they might as well have it stock head but can have an aftermarket cam, stock 50cc discplacement, stock crank it would be alot easier that way and the rules are so contradicting as is its stupid

So crank or no crank. If the head or manifold is ported, it's illegal.

Dont know, but one would think that if they are going to the trouble of checking strokes, what's to stop them from pulling off the carb or unbolting the 2 screws that are holding down the manifold.
