Boon, since i grenaded my 170 v2 motor I took the 160 BV setup out of my x2 tonight at Dan's. My 184 kit came in but the 160 motor will not be here in time. So I'm running it in my x4r for the arenacross in Baltimore. I'm excited to see what it can do. It will be a little down on HP but I think it will make it in traction from the smooth power delivery.

Guess we'll have to wait till saturday to see what happens:D

Sweet I cant wait til saturday! the 160 kit is a smoother motor than the 146. i think you'll have some decent power. BTW- I think you'll like the shirts. you can wear it over your jersey.. lol jp.

the heads designed for a slightly dome piston ,so the flat top 150 piston should clear fine

Neil and I weigh in about the same and we both have Pitster Pro's. He runs the 160 and I run the 165V2.

When you get that new head on there we should gear up the same and do a couple of drag races to see what the difference is.

Jarred, we should definitely do this! I'll get my cousin with the 146 x4 to run with us too. he's alot lighter than us so that should make it even. I need to practice my standing starts anyways.. its either I stall or the front tire is pointed north!

I know the perfect place to do a little drag racing. I wanted to ride there last Sat but he got busy and i didnt hear back from you.

I tried once in a heat race and i stalled it out. I'm geared at 16/39 for decent top speed in the straights. the last few races of the season i started burning the clutch (slipping) and that did me pretty well. I just need more practice

im going to bet on the Yx's with V2's or +R's making more outright power... due to the short stroke high rpm capabilities.

And the Long stroke style motors making more torque, but not more power...

But seriously, my 187V2 already has soo much bottom end its almost unusable... how can u need more :)
