Hey, I'm not sure if this has ever been posted on PM, but there is a place in Sterling, VA called AllSports GP. It's a go-cart track that they let us use it for pitbike riding. Polished concrete, nice track and the guy who runs it, Monty, is really great. There have been a couple ride days already this year. The next one is February. I will let you know when that is going to happen. There is list that comes out about a week prior to the event. It's a limited number of riders, so i will let you all you know when it comes out again. If you like to ride indoor motard, this is the place for pitbikes. There is everything from stock 50's to big bore 230's. Nice facility and fast track.

Does anybody know about the warehouse in Shippensburg at the Letterkenny Army Depot? Pretty cool place to ride. I will get dates for that too.

I have ridden my bike at Allsports once. I rode the last minibike event last season. I plan to ride the last few events this year also. Also, if you miss the minibike ride days, they are a go kart place and the do have go karts! So you can ride those too and contribute to my paycheck. (I work there.)

I ride in Sterling and have been to the warehouse. Its every Wed night from 7-10, except for this week. They will ride tomm night from 7-10. I think they are riding every other Sunday starting this coming Sunday 1/4. $35 and unlimited track time. If you ride a small bike you better be fast. Most of the guys ride 150s, but are respectful. Cheng Shins seem to work best in Sterling and they work good in PA, a sticky track tire looks the best though.

Its in Chambersburg, PA. Took me about 1.5hrs from Damascus, MD. Its basically a bunch of guys who race during the warmer months and rent this empty warehouse in the winter. The track is nothing like Sterling. The track is not polished, it has a broom finish so its tacky. There is not a heated indoor area or bathrooms. And the track is made with yellow caution tape and tires around the columns. Its bare bones racing that is a lot of fun. Its a bit of a hike, but you get all the track time you want and its many dollars cheaper. The guys are fast so you will get much better, unless you are already badass. I plan to hit it 3-4 more times this year along with Sterling so when Sandy Hook starts I am in good form. Do a search in the events section on SMJ in the N.East for an address for the location.

rode Allsports the past 2 years but have yet to go this season. A broken pinkey and being a father has sidelined me a little bit, not to mention its been too cold to work on the bike. Just finished the spring/summer/fall season at Sandy Hook. Totally different bike setup there so i was not ready for the indoor season. I plan to hit up a few of the remaining Allsports events and maybe one Gforce event before i gotta get ready for the 09 Sandy Hook season. you guys should really check that out if your into mini roadracing.

I actually have two bikes. I think the one you saw last year was the black SDG style bike I had. smaller displacement but higher revving. so i dont have to shift as much indoor. suspension settings different (softer indoor), gearing, higher bars.

outdoor, I run an X4 which has alot stiffer suspension, lower bars, bigger motor, taller gearing.

Schedule for AllSports for 2009 winter:

Feb 1st 7-11am

March 1st 8-12pm

March 22nd 7-11am

A RSVP email will come out the week prior. So email Monty, the organizer of these events, at MontyW2@aol.com. He will then add you to the list. When you get the email to RSVP, send it back right away to get your spot. Only a limited number of riders per class. (A, B, C class)

Come out and ride both the Warehouse at Letterkenny Army Depot and also AllSports. Both places are really good for some fast, bar banging fun.

Trials tires work best on that surface. cheng shin has some options you can check out based on your wheel size.

catch cans for carb and case vents are mandatory. spills on that track cause havoc. safety wire your drain plug and fill plug. your good to go.

Check out the cheng shing tires, their cheap and effective and they don't really wear out on that surface because its so smooth. Just make sure you have catch cans on all vents. Like Boonacka says, if you spill then it does cause problems for a few minutes. Usually they have paper towels around to clean up the spill, but it slows everything down. Lots of fun.

2up Riders, if your interested, please let me know how many with names and I will get the email out to the promoter to get you guys on the list. Email me at jspider70@aol.com
