changed my clutch cover on my 110 because it had a little crack and would lea oil slowly. so i took it off and put a new one on.. now when i put the other one on it feels like it has no compression wen i try nd kick it and it feels like gears just running together. i know i had to put something on wrong. there are only 3 pieces that would come off when i take off the clutch cover so im guessing i assembled it wrong.

if i place the cover on without tightening the bolts it seems t kick fine but as soon as i tighten them it does what is explained above. anyone have a pic of there 110 engine without the clutch cover on so i can use it as a reference on how all the parts are supposed to be on.. thanks

the same thing happend 2 me and i think it is that the gasket isnt holding it out enough. when i loosen the bolts holding on the cover then it catches and works, but i dont know.

the clutch cover gasket has nothing to do with the compression of the motor..it is pushing the clutch in and making it as if it were engaged..most likely the clutch adjuster is too far in
