Money isn't really an issue. I just want this thing to be baddd and to hold up too lol. So help me out!

Well you can be like me and throw ten thousand bucks at it...and still have problems.:(

I built it up a little, then swapped and upgraded parts and now have lots of leftovers all over the garage. It would have been cheaper to just buy the best stuff first. If i could go back I'd just buy a Pitster X4R.

Seriously... I've built $16,000 KLX's so if money is no concern then lets do this thing.

Engine dept can be a 25 hp engine complete. Only thing you would keep is the cases and even that gets modded. Head, BBK, Crank, Clutch assembly, Tranny, blah blah blah.

Front Suspension can be Marzoke's or KX65 with upgraded brakes and wheels.

Rear Suspension can be a host of different swingarms and shock assembly's. From Two Bros, BBR, BIG MINIS, to name a few with Ohlins, Elka, Race Tech handling the shock.

You have a host of wheels, brakes, drive systems.

Plastics, graphics, seats,

Controls such as Handlebars, perches, throttle assembly, foot pegs.

You can purchase an aftermarket frame if you want.

I'm telling ya. You gotta be more specific when you say you wanna build a bad ass KLX.

Haha alright well lets see here. Where do I start. Definately gonna get graphics, new plastics, bars, grips, and pipe. Thing where I start to kinda get lost is the rear suspension and swingarm. I'm gonna keep my stock frame and just get a bigger swingarm and gonna get a new front end too. But I look on here and see like a +2 and +3 on rear suspension/swingarm and i have NO idea what they are talking about.

Then I also would like to put a 143 kit in it or a 150 with a clutch. BUT when I look at some of the parts and clutches, I really don't get what they are talking about when your installing it.

Since you trust us to do the foot work for ya , here's what you need to do . ;)

First off .., sell your 2003 and go this route ...

Kaaay .. Now what you wanna do is take the pic below and put it in an e-mail to BBR , with your credit card number and your street address and tell em you want a bike just like the one in the pic . In a couple of weeks , you should see it at your door step . :)

Haha thats funny. I'm not just gonna like DROP that much in like one time. It's gonna over a period of time haha. There's no way I have THAT much money for it like right now or else I would have me two big bikes waiting for me when my back heals up.

Well, I'm pretty new to this klx/pitbike thing too, but what I did was buy a used (04) 110 from a guy that is an enthusiast in this sort of thing, and works in the motorcycle bizz as well. For about 2k its pretty well built up already with a 143, 2 bros forks, worx shock, sikk110 +2, tag bars, hydro clutch, 4 speed, cam, seat, brake lever, shifter, triple clamps, brake lever, rims, etc....

Its enough done that I can have fun with it, jump etc, and add on as I go, and most of all LEARN about it.

There seem to be pretty good deals out there if you can find one that you have reasonable proof that it isn't thrashed....
