Have fun man, the 250 Open C class is all about starts and being consistent. If you pull 3 good moto scores you can win because everyone will have itleast one problem. Get a start and have a good first moto and it will carry you through the week. Good Luck man. And don't make the mistake I did and let nerves get the best of you. I was leading in points going into the last moto and choked in 2000. I ended up 2nd overall. Just keep a clear head and have fun and you will do awesome.

Nice job man. Off the subject but were you racing pit bikes at Street track and trail?

nah, I dont think i was there? One of my main sponsors said no pitbikes until Lorettas because he doesnt want me to get hurt... I'm gonna miss the fiddy haha.

Yeah i know austin, thanks! I'm gonna try my best to take D6 to the top.

I still cant believe I had to go through the consi and I still made it. I was talking with a bunch of guys that are big into the whole lorettas thing and they have never heard of anyone make it out of the regional with a qualifying spot after going through the consi.

all I can say is im getting very friendly with my collection of hoodies... i'm wearing a hoodie and shorts full time now until lorettas to get used to the heat and everything.

Thanks for all the positive comments-this past weekend showed if you give it your all you can still make it. 18-3-2 for 7th overall is crazy and then to add in it was a Southeast REGIONAL-nuts! I figured after the first moto and the consi that i had no chance to make it so I just rode my best and tried to keep at least some respect. I guess PA showed some of those southern guys that the north has a few tricks up their sleeves!

congrats!

I was really pumped to go this year, I went with my buddy last year, he finished 17th in 250B stock. He trained real hard and was looking real fast, won all his areas, then at the regional he went down making a hard pass, and broke his left wrist.. and my other friend i would have gone with was plenty fast, but couldnt put together any qualifying motos..

So no LL for me this year... i am sure going to miss riding my unicycle in 105* weather :) and sleeping in the trailer, that was fun too

Congrats, that's a great accomplishment. I tried back in 86 when I was younger but didn't qualify. I am going to get a modery big bike and try to qualify in 2008. It's one of those things that I really want to do to complete my time racing bikes! I have never been to watch but wen't to The World Mini Grand Prix in 77 and watched Jeff Ward race his FMF Suzuki RM 80's. Went to Ponca City in 86 and it was really cool! Saw Jeff Emig and Brian Swink battle in the Super Mini class - what a race! Also Jeff the Chicken Matasavich and some of the others that made it big after that. It's really a cool experience so enjoy it and have fun watching the experts, they are the next Ricky and James'

Go watch at lorettas this year! its an awesome experience even if you dont ride; its almost like stepping from reality into a motocross heaven. The entire town is pretty much tripled in size when the national is in town.

I made it to I qualified in washington at wasgougal in the 14-15 mod class and the supermini class its a blast I went last year and can't wait to go again this year

Congrats on making it there its definitly not an easy thing to do

I made in the 40 and 45+ classes.

last year I got 9th in the 45+,but I really had a goal of top 5,and I was gonna call it quits and spend more time training my son more seriously, but I couldnt quit with a goal not meet! so Im tring 1 more time.

ON A 250 2-STROKE ALSO!!! (I even pulled a mean holeshot last year on a 2 stroke also!!)
