So a solid backbone frame not slowracer style. With a different head angle and some 70 plastics, along with an almost generic chinese swinger. It looks good but its looks to be just a half conversion from the standard motovert. Please correct me if i am wrong.

ride it before you judge it bro.8) Motovert is the nicest pit bike straight out the box I've ever rode and I've rode em all.

I'm not saying it isnt a nice bike. It looks like an awesome bike. With the in shroud oil cooler, yx160 and a very nice price its definetly no slouch in the market. Motoverts are some of my favorite bikes. My only question is weight, the advantage of a crf70 is its light weight and great ergonomics as compared to the klx110 or bikes based off the 110. So now my question is how does it stack up as far as weight against the other motoverts?

Have you riden the SSR150R or the pitster LXR160R?
Nope but you don't see me bashing them do ya?

It's the classic hate it before you try it, I don't hate until I try then I can actually give an honest opinion. (Not being a smart butt here just trying to be real.)

I should have said rode most of em... LOL... sorry about that.

Tyson you arent half as cool as the other guys that want to hate.

$1999 in this economy allows us to still play with new toys! I should have saved my $ and not built 2 50's for the yard!

My wife said I can get another bike just after the following:

Finish installing the trim in the kitchen from about 3 yrs ago....ooops

Build her a deck to the back of our house

Install a Hot Tub on above deck

Remodel the bathroom

This winter is going to SUCK!

Well the feedneck and frame are based on CRF 70 geometrey and the motor is alot better than past honda based motors. Hardened case, no slinger, reinforced kick start gear , 6 plate clutch so if this is OK with all you guys for new stuff for 09 this is just one new things coming for 09 from TDKmoto

Hmm that clutch cover looks like the it came from the new yx170? :D I just read it comes with the outer rotor. :D

So the only thing thats "new" is the plastics and seat?

357.......do you have a beef with Motovert? Seems like you aren't cutting these guys much slack. I'm not hating on you....... but the Motovert guys are trying to be innovative and it looks like you are being pretty critical with them. But then again maybe it's just me?????

Just wish there was a some more upgrades from the last year. Maybe I need some more info to see the changes. Im not ganging up on them, I would still buy this bike cause the price tag.

So the frame is tuned out for the rake and stuff? I was just scanning the photos and those hubs look like the new SSR150R hubs. Are they? Cause they look sweet.

I know YX is telling you that it is crf70 geometry, but it is not.Take a good look at the photos you can tell.

no there actually the same hubs as we had last year they were just red instead of silver. SSR is using the same as VERT,OGM,PITSTER

The SSR hubs are not the same,SSR's take crf50 sprockets. The vert, ogm, pitsters have there own sprocket spacing and pattern.

For 09, the Pitster has its own wheels, hubs, sprockets and rotors, so everyone will be more like the big bikes, good stuff that is not the same!!
