That is actually the front caliper that Ijust set on the rear to get attention

Its a kx85 caliper. The rear for now is stock

lookin good so far. are you done yet? you'll love the tokico caliper over the stock. i used an RM85 caliper.

I would be finished but the only thing stopping this thing is I cannot get spark to the coil. Ive hooked up 2 irk's, 2 cdi's, and 2 coils and still nothing?

How are you getting that rear caliper to work?

If you are not getting spark it can only be a few things, I'd first disconnect the kill switch and then check the wiring harness. WhAt ignition is that in the photo?

I'd get a different caliper. The KX85 caliper has a small set of a brake pads and no options for decent quality race pads for the caliper.

the rear caliper is just there for looks, its not the actual one im using. The ignition is the Takegawa inner rotor

I'm sure you have thought of this, but if anything is supposed to be grounded on the frame make sure the powder coat is removed for good contact. good luck, I hate electrical issues

Also check and make sure the wires are not crossed up in the wiring harness connector. I have had that happen and cause all kinds of heartache.

How much is an inner rotor kit for these? I am wanting to try it on my X4R, but on the dirt.

They are 40.00, and a brand new one solved my problems.

The next problem I have is trying to kick start this thing. I might have to get the d-comp, because kick starting this engine is not easy

Definately get the decomp, I just put the S35D in my bike and it is amazing!

you guys are lucky they make decomp cams for your heads. On my 160, i basically have to get it to tdc then put my whole body weight(180lbs!) through it just to kick it over. even then, it doesnt always want to go down. i guess the benefits of riding motard is that i can bump start it alot easier on asphalt than on dirt.
