Do the Zonger/ Lifan head and the Gpx head use the same size(teeth wise) cam sproket? So if i have a ported Zong Head with G2 cam is it a direct bolt on to a Lifan/ Gpx engine?

No Some Of The Zongers Used A 28t Cam Sprocket And The Lifan And Jialing Use 32t

Yea But You Forgot One Thing Vinny, How Can You Run A 32t Cam Sprocket When The Head Is Designed To Take A 28t. I Have Done It And It Took Alot Of Grinding On The Cam Chain Channel For The Chain To Clear.

How much did you have to change the spocket on the shaft for a 28-32 cam gear change?



Changing the gear ratio there, seems like valves would find the piston.

Just keep it 2:1. If you're using a 28 tooth cam sprocket, use a 14 tooth crank sprocket. 32tooth in the head, 16 tooth on the crank. Easy cheasy.

So even though you have to grind the cam chain channel, does someone sell a 3 bolt 32t gear that will work on a Zonger head with a crower G2 that uses a 28t sprocket stock? and how much?

Me too, I have put 3 rcm zonger head on a gpx bottom end, both cam gears are the same.
