Coupe years ago I picked my current dirt beater. Missing a rear wheel but with a hub with ripped out studs, typical abused bike. Well, the more I dig, the sorry I feel for it. Clutch has been slipping, timing chain is stretched so time to get into a little long overdue maintenance. Didn’t take long to find a few issues...one of which is this!!

This poor bike. What has it been through?

What amazing me most is that I was still riding it around like that! Still worked. The second I took it off and could tell something wasn’t right though. How is the world could that happen...while the rest of the motor/gearbox work. If/when I even split the case, lord knows what I’ll find.
