Looks really good, good work. If you ever happen to tear it back down please get some measurements on your adapter.
What carb are you running and what jetting? Looks we have about 500' from sea level difference but it would give me a nice starting point. How does she run on the street with that yz gearing and the rz pipe? Was it just the header mount that you had to modify to get that pipe to work?

I'm using a 94 yz250 mikuni tm carburetor with the stock jetting so far. I haven't ridden it on the street much just around the block twice but it seems to be ok. That pipe is the stock yz250 pipe I cut it into 6-7 sections and welded it back together so it fit under the bike. That adapter uses the all balls steering stem bearings. So if you had the bearings it just needs to go over the kx85 lower stem and fit inside the bearing. I might be able to measure the height with it on the bike.

It didn't work for what I was trying to do. I searched all over for that stupid pipe too and ended up buying it out of Canada and paying too much.
