Yoshimura TM-MJN24, 26 or 28mm for Big Bore?



Lets say any motor (140cc, 150cc or little large) or your favorite 143cc Takegawa Lady Killer.



Which carb would be choice? Let's say down the road you plan on cam'in a little bit etc.



Which of these carbs would be the best investment?

It depends. On a high-compression 143+ I'd run a 26 or bigger.



The TM-MJN24's for street apps, I'd run on a well built 88 or 108.



My official answer is it depends on the engine combination, the exhaust, street/dirt and a number of other factors. Good head, cam, etc.

Im thinking 26mm. I am think about most usability for a long period of time on various motors if needed. I think thats called an "Investment."



The price is $490.00 for the 26mm



I dont plan on ever running a motor smaller than 143cc or larger than 180cc

Might be apples and oranges but on my TJR 146 +R Nice I am running a VM26. A 28 did not produce the same real world results so the 26 is still on there.
