It will be enough power w/ a standard flywheel and stator.



I put this TBolt USA, LLC » Pitbike Engine Parts » Electrical » 12V CDI SYSTEM KIT on my YX150 (the motor came stock w/ a inner rotor) and it runs the light and charges the battery on my Baja Design kit just fine. I think the flywheel and stator (from Tbolt's kit), are the same as what would come on a YX150 or YX160 w/ a standard flywheel setup.

Some companies sell the YX 150 and 160 built with a lighting coil that should power your battery just fine. The GPX 160 comes with a high out put lighting coil in it but I think you should look into a Lifan 150 for street legal use and put your stock stator and flywheel on it. IT will bolt up with your pipe, and intake easier. The trans ratio is rad for street riding.
