Just to let everyone know, PRC is comeing out with a new bike in about 2 weeks. It will be a complete bike with a 110 stroker motor. You will have your choice of which colors you want on the frame and what skin you would like. Every motor mod will be in it including heavy duty oil pump and different gears. Bike will be complete with tall seat foam, frame brace, 70 frount forks with upper triple clamp with tag mini bars, rear swing arm with I shock, rear brake kit, ultima exhaust, IMS shift lever, IMS pegs, the bike will be a complete race ready bike and won't fall apart like some others out there. If your were to build the motor alone, you would spend over $1800 on it. The bike complete will sell for around $3500. Lighter than a $5500 BBr and much faster!!!!!!!

Jim

Jim,

Can you give us more details on the motor? Is it a modified Honda motor or something else?
Motor

The motor is a Honda not no China or Vietnam motor. All honda and Kitaco components in the motor including our Ultra head by Us. This modified head beats any $1000 after market head. The head is ported by machine and bench flow tested prior to instilation on the motor.

Re: Motor

So is the frame 1.5 inches longer than stock?? Does this motor start as a stock 49cc honda oem?? What wheels and brakes are you running on this setup?? Thanks
frme,brakes,motor

The Frame is a stock one that is reinforced by us. The brakes are stock but that's what will come with the base price bike. If someone wants other brakes and other options we will build to suit the customer. The motor starts out as a 49cc but it will not stay that way. All the internals are changed and well as the head, flywheel and other components. This motor is not like some that stay at 72cc and then stroke it. The motor will beat any 88 or 107 around !

Jim,

Sounds like a winner. What do you estimate the bike to put down on the dyno? A true Kitaco Ultrahead 108cc Stroker with a VM26 Mikuni puts down close to 12 hp with the right tune. Are you going to port the Kitaco Ultrahead even further, or using a head of your own design, ported and bench flowed?

Also, is the bike still going to be an auto, or will it be a 4 speed manual? If you mentioned this already, my apologies.
HP

The head design is our own with the cam that we use. We are thinking on the order of 14 to 16 hp but we won't know till we have the bike checked on a dyno. We know that the blue bike that we build without being stroked was around 12 HP. That thing used to beat our built up TTR125. All the info will be available when the bike is completed. We are using a modified 3 speed auto with heavy duty clutch springs. We feel that if the bike is geared right 3 gears are enough. We have in the past beat 4 speeds and 5 speeds with our combination. Don't worry, The bike will either be a kick ass bike or we'll come up with a different combination to make it a hand full!!!!!!!!!!

Would like more responses what people think about the new bike we are comeing out with. Your help would be appreciated! If you have a better idea for a combination, let me know. We are trying to build a bad ass bike for the least amount of money(More bang for the buck).

the bike sounds sweet...

I think that you should forget the frame bracing with the stock frame, and just have a chromoly one as standard. They are not much, and the "bang for the buck" even if you have to add a couple hundred bucks to the price tag would be worth it for the higher quality bike (plus you are saving $$ on labor and materials from installing the bracing to the stocker).

if I were to buy a 'performance bike out of the box', I would pay a bit more for the cleaner look and strength of the better frame.

on another note... I would like to throw one of those motors into my Supermini !!!

Dragging knee with a 15hp missile would put a smile on my face that would not go away. hehee

O, I see it now, thakns Logikal
Jim spaming

I don't know who put under breakin spokes reply that I was spamming. I am a paid advertiser of plantminis and this is the second time I have been told this. I am starting to get pissed off!! I am only trying to get peoples input so the bike that we offer is the best it can be for the money. As far as advertising, I was told by Nick that when I started advertising that we would be on the frount page like dpmmx because we are offering 10% off for planet mini members and also offering free shipping in contential US for these members. I offered this to members 3 weeks ago but still there is no banner on the frount page like dpmmx. Whats the hold up or whats the problem..I guess you have to be a moderator to get that treatment.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING,

Jim

They didnt say you were spamming. They were saying Breakinspokes was spamming.
Jim,

have you built any of these yet or do you put them together when people order? can you post a pic if you have one? it sounds like a good deal mate.
Hi Jim-

Rick out here in Seattle. As a side note, you should of received my head today for porting, springs, etc... can't wait to bolt it up and give it a test.

The bike sounds sweet. I agree with the frame comments. A better frame would be worth the extra $ in my opinion.

I currently use various products from PRC and haven't been disapointed yet! I've spent much time on the phone asking about PRC's recommendations and advise and they are usually dead nuts on track. Check out some of their bikes and you'll see they do extensive "field testing."

The bike sounds like a screamer. What forks are you going to include? Rear Shock?

Of course, I'd be glad to ride one out here in WA for you if you want to send it out :p

Take care,

Rick

oops! Sorry, I'm an idiot... I see in your original post you state the Stock 70 forks and Ishock.

Rick
IT MUST HAVE A CRO MO FRAME THAT 1 INCH IS A BIG DIFFERENCE AND THE STRENTH IS WORTH THE EXTRA $
I wish I knew what this spamming is all about. I replied to his inquiry for more input on what they should offer on the bike.

I would like to know what I did that was considered 'spamming'.
