First off let me say Hi. Since I started building my 70 for my son I have used this sight for great information, so thanks to everyone here.



My son is 8 years old and starting to become a good rider. I wanted to give him a bike to match his needs since the old XR was a little dated. Let me say I have contacted numerous vendors over the past few weeks, Jeff at Reeg has been the bigest help. The customer service from Reeg has been better then excellent.



I stripped the entire bike down, oiled, lubed and cleaned everything. Added new Sano +2 swingarm, Fox air shock, ASV brake lever, BBR shift lever, BBR skid plate, Project 123 Gas cap, Leo Vince pipe, Uni filter, re-jetted. Still waiting on Reeg Hyd rear brake system, Black Excel rims and other bits like pegs and 13 tooth front sprocket.



After I get the bike sorted I may add a Big Bore kit, the front end will remain stock until I cave in and buy the Marzochi front end.



Posted a few pics so far, I'll keep you updated on the build. I love working on this bike, and I might have to sneak a few rides in.

Get a set of Powroll Ti clutch weights, and get your cylinder shaved by .030" to add a smidge of 'vroom' while you wait on putting a bore kit in.

Very nice build bud. Send me the flywheel, I will shave it down for ya to gain some quicker rev's outta it.



I'd have the flywheel sent back the next day to you.



I wouldn't reccomend the rear disk brakes tho...hub brakes are more reliable imo.

Thanks for the nice comments. I'm new to the Mini thing, as you can see from the garage I'm a motorcycle nut. I always find more ways to spend money on my bikes. It's like a sick addiction.
