This is/was all spare parts.

It was kinda neat looking but still needed something

I decided to convert it over to mono shock since I had all the parts

Temporarily mounted the rear shock to get an idea of spring rate, sag etc... turned out this location made for a very stiff rear shock.

At this point I swapped out the front end as well

You’re going to love that front end. That’s what I had. You’re rear set up is vary similar to mine. Very plush. Only problem with this style front end the SL tank hits bad. That’s why I went with the XL-XR type fuel tank. I love those tires you have! That is going to be epic!!!

Ha! I'm pretty sure some of these parts were yours at one point. I got some of the parts from hokomon and shapeshifter

Thanks! I relocated the tank mounts. I've got about 1/4" clearance at the tightest spot.

First I made a bracket that mounted on the factory coil mount that dropped the tank and pushed it back some

I didn't like it so i cut off the factory coil mounts and made a headtube gusset with integrated tank mounts

It is indeed. 1985 xr200 RFVC "radial 4 valve" with dual carburetors.

I rode this bike in the mid 90s. I just went through it and freshened it up a bit. I've got the rear shock out of it at the moment. Replacing the shock head seal

next the rear master cylinder bracket. its just 3/16" plate with tapped m6 holes

I would love an XL70, just so hard to find! Great looking build. It's amazing what being handy with a welder can do, I really need to get some practice.

I didn't have a brake pedal for this frame. after looking at stock pedals I realized that my exhaust would be in the way. I made a pedal that fits and doesn't look too terrible
