xr 70 springs. People say they don't work but they did in mine and my buddies bikes. We still running stock plates though. I had another friend buy a kit and the "Heavy Duty" springs are nothing more than 70 springs that have been polished/grinded on each end to make specs. They 2 bucks apiece as well.

i have a set of 70 springs, it did not work when i put it back together, i tryed EVERYTHING! put the stock springs back in and it worked again.

tell me what you did different on the install, or do i have the wrong 70 springs?

they wernet the same height or width, and i came to the conclusion that they werent compressing enough to shift. the springs "bottomed out" before the clutch could compress to slip.

i want the REAL made for the XR50 heavy duty springs that will definetly work. makes that extra money worth it.
