anyone have a couple sets of bar shims I have 1-1/8 mounts w 7/8 bars , Thought i'd ask before i fire up the lathe

go to your local bike dealer and get the universal bar adapters...will raise the bars some too

i just need shims ,this is for a new tag triple clamp that has 1-1/8 holes this one already has raised clamps i'll probably end up machining some , if no one has any , im just not in the mood to track down material and spending a couple hrs making them

I think Tracy Motorsports has a set in stock, call them.

Last time I was in..there was a packaged set hanging in on the wall.

i called the parts dept he went and looked and said no , and said he didnt think they ever had any ? and i found out they discontinued them so i can't even oorder them ive done an exhaustive search and can't find a shim kit anywhere , i can't believe nobody makes a shim kit for 1-1/8 clamps to 7/8 bars, not everybody that upgrades there triple ,wants to use 1-1/8 bars.

luckly i have a lathe , and there are still 7/8 clamps still floating around.

They were there..tell the guy they are below the Pro-Taper bars hanging on the wall

who did you talk to?



You probably talked to this new guy..he doesn't know much..I went in and had to order something..took him forever to find it.



There is a lady(with a nice rack!), she is the one to talk to.
