I finally won something, I got the 12" open overall with 2-2 moto scores on the X4, not bad for never practicing! I am sure I will post a thread when I have time in the vendor area as a shameless plug for AHP
We had a good time out there today and saw some familiar faces, only like 12 guys in each class though, holiday weekends will do that though.
I got a couple pics and videos, I'll post up when I get a chance.
Mark is down playing the superman like effort that was required of him to win. Me and another fella were cheering from the deck, yelling "Go for it, hold it wide open!" To bad I didn't get a video of it
I did not race, no excuse really except that I make a Lame Cripple Dakota was there but must have spaced out because he missed half of the 12 open race, thus he did not take the overall. Midsize stock was 10'ish bikes and midsize open was just a couple less.
Nope, I didn't race, no excuse really except that I make a Lame Cripple My motor is still sitting on the bench and I got quite a few acres of grass to mow tomarrow, so I don't think I'll be able to get to it. Maybe by next weekend I'll get it together and see just how bad I messed up that motor I am keeping my fingers crossed for the July races but my wife is due in July so that is if'y at best. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Dakota was there, but must have spaced out because he missed half of the first 12 open moto and thus he did not take the overall. There were 10'ish bikes in midsize stock and just a couple less in midsize open.
Thanks Vince. Yea I was leading the first moto then dumped it in the sand like a newbie, had to re-start and came back to 2nd. In the second moto I stalled in the 2nd corner, again like a newb and had to come back again while dakota rode around with a blindfold on smoking everyone.
Anyway not too shabby for me since I never even ride anymore, it was fun again and thats what was sweet about it. Good seeing everyone there, and for once we didnt get rained on
