I am building a new bike, not so worried about having OEM fenders, but how "close" to looks are the white fenders that TBparts sell.

I see they are the same size and fit....I am guessing they will work perfectly!

As far as the replacement fenders for the '79-'87 models, make sure you have the rubber grommets and steel collars for mounting them up. On a set of the red fenders, the alignment on the rear fender holes was off a little, I had to dremel the top mount holes a bit to get it to line up straight on the frame

Thanks, I found an OEM set for 108 bucks, got lucky!
