What size heli-coil is needed for Honda Foot Peg Mounts?



I have a stripped bolt in one of the foot peg mount holes on the bottom of my engine case. Does anyone know what size heli-coil I need to get to repair that?

Make sure it's 8 X 1.25 and not 8 X 1.0 pitch.

Some guys open them up to 10mm, when they're too cheap to get a H-C kit

Just do not drill too deep. (Or you strike oil)

Damn Heli Kit was 29.99 at Pep Boys.

It was an easy operation. Thanks FastMC the 8 x 1.25 was perfect! It took me about 15 minutes to do the job.
