warm it up for 10-20 seconds or so. its not that big of deal. just dont start it up and take off down the road at full throttle.

but im coming from so cali where its already hot as hell. if its cold out give it some time to adjust. its the drastic change thats not good for it.

Crank it and hold it at about 1/4 throttle till I reach down and feel the cylinder and head starting to get warm then its good to go.

I let it sit until it doesn't bog when I twist the throttle. then I just ride around for a couple of mins until I really start thrashing on it.

I let it idle for a while . It seems like forever but it's probly 5 min or till the idle is smooth , consistant and no bog on throttle snap from idle .

I too also feel the head .
