voltage regulator induced madness!!

hey guys, im new to the site, and was wondering if anyone could offer any advice. Im having trouble getting enough power out of my regulator to run lights. I do have a 5 wire system that works. the problem is that there is not enough power coming back out of the regulator to keep a battery charged. any suggestions?
