vm26mm or 28mm flat side on 124se?

I am trying to decide what carb to run, I have the vm26mm on my 124se, have the inner rotor and kitaco clutch and runs very strong, I know the mikuni 28mm flat side is harder to tune but what kind of gains or losses could be expected? I dont want to lose any tourqe, but I have been told that the 28mm flat side would have much faster acceleration.

has anybody done a comparison?

26 if you want low end tight tracks and 28 for high speed stuff
go with the 26mm. Its much easier to work with and way more reliable
i have a 28mm laying around im not using if ur interested.
Never a flat slide! if your going to run a 28mm make it a D slide 100 times better!
