i've had four flats. 3 were because it ripped the tube at the valve stem. I just have a basic 88kit too. I bought a rimlock but have not put it on yet. Hopefully it helps.

can you run a 2.50 tube in a tire thats 2.75?
with aftermarket tires do you have to have a rim lock?

around 15 psi I believe. I dunno I lost the gauge thing for the air compressor so I just pump it up by feel.
