OK here's the deal. I have a 70's Heathkit Hilltopper mini bike that I would like to trade for a xr/crf50. The bike is in good condition, has all OEM parts, it is metallic gold with some scrapes and scuffs, has a 5hp engine, starts and runs well. If you dont know what a Hilltopper is, it was a mini bike sold as a kit in the 70's. The bike belongs to my dad who does not want to ride it becuase of the collector value. I will try to get some pics very soon, but until then this is the same bike that sold on Ebay for $1600. The differences between the bikes are that mine has no front brake, no ski, and no lights. It was Ebay #2283390501.

Sell yours on ebay and purchase an XR50, as there are so few people who want those lawnmower engine bikes. You may get $1500, you may get $500. It's a crapshoot.



One thing is certain, you won't get someone to trade you here, as everyone wants their XR/CRF50 to ride.

Sorry Z88R, maybe its worth asking? I know a lot of you guys have multiple bikes, and maybe want something collectable, and if im going to sell it to buy a 50...why not just see if someone wants to trade for a 50? Im not too sure how fast it goes, prob like high 20's, but it will climb up almost anything. Just mail [email protected] for a pic or questions.
