Question how are the front brake lines routed through to the front. Are the cables behind with the tie rod or in front of the frame?

Thread update....Still have this TRX70 and it still gets a lot of use these days. Always starts first or second pull

I had a bit of a gas leak in the peacock area so I figured I'd replace the 32 year old rock hard fuel lines.

Another dam leak at the petcock. Luckily I had an o-ring from an ATC70 carb which is basically the same. The TRX70 oring was pretty flat looking.

One rough 85 beater/basket case.
One Xtra 79 frame and engine came with above beater.
One more...mess of parts, that was a fellow enthusiast's abandoned project.
All in, time and money spent...should have just bought 1 $1000 runner. It's a familiar story for me... but, I'm happy with what I have to work with now.
Need to pop for new 85 plastics. Do you want to recommend a brand?? And a vendor?

Great to hear you picked one up. As for plastics, I think Maier is the only aftermarket company. Hondaatc70.com sells them for $215 a set plus $40 shipping. You might find them cheaper on eBay. I like the original plastic fenders they are more sturdy. You might be able to pick a used set up for about the same price.
