will do, apart right now, but i'll take some. Never purchased anything from these guys yet Hondaatc70.com checked the page and nothing listed. I wouldn't buy used bushings or bearings. I'd rather have them made, probally be cheaper and in spec too. I will ask gordon if they make them just to put a bug in his ear.

hey tmas. with the above picture of the trx70 front brake assembly at the hub. On my 1987 trx70 the actuating arm under that cover that connects to a spring and the cable doesn't wanna work. It won't retract after being pulled to brake. It's the left side if the bike, like in the above photo. Also When using the front brake only the right side locks up, the left just sluggs around.

I tried adjusting the 'y' connecting the two front brake cables, that just caused the left side to go too tight that the hub wouldn't spin freely.

Any help would be appreciated.

Trailingpickles....I had the same type of problem. When I replaced the kingpin bushings t took the front hubs apart to check the brakes. I cleaned everything up and removed the actuator arm & shaft which wasn't moving much and was surrounded by rock hard 27 year old Honda grease. Once I got the front brakes all serviced I checked the 3 cables to make sure they were moving freely. One was a little stuck so I lubed it with white grease and that made it a bit better. I even lubed the lever pivot points. Give that a try.

I want to take the hub apart tonight along with the actuating arm and grease everything! How do I go about taking it apart.
Trailingpickles....This should pretty well explain everything. To get the front drums off you have to remove the big nut in the center of the hub. See and follow attachments instructions. I hope this helps you. Get back to me if you have any questions. :arms:

If followed the steps. It appears the cable doesn't want to slide through it's housing. I ordered new cables. The hub still needs to be taken apart and cleaned, greased.
