hi i have constent ticking coming from my motor its not the valves it almost sounds like its the cam chain hitting of the cam chain tesoner i was wondering if anyone had any input its a tb 165 kit with the race cam v2 head bbr d2 perimeter pipe and there 28mm carb

Did you put the piston in backwards? Very easy mistake to do.

Also if you run the valves looser than say .004, it will make some ticking noise.

As for your tensioner. Make sure you released it.

Maybe your cam timing is off.
