well im aimming to keep it under $700. which i think i can do if i buy the BBR SP-5 forks with complete bar kit for $599 & sell the bar kit for like 100 bucks. & find a shock for under $200. how much does the res. really help?

the bbr forks suck i hate them

get an ishock they are well worth it

and 100 for bar kit might be but might not be possible all i had left over from the bar kit was bars bar pad and throttle and grips

you need everything else they give ya unless ya have longer cables already but i have the bbr forks and they suck

they blow fork seals like crazy and they are really soft

if you get some put heavy oil in them right away and make sure the seals are in all the way because mine were out a little bit when i got them out of the box and oil was coming out but i fixed them and blew the seals maybe 3 rides after i had them on there better then stock but there not worth the $500 i wish i would have bought another fork than these

I haven't blown a fork seal on my sp5's yet. Hard landings and track riding and still are fine. I'm leaning towards putting heavier oil in them however. Also get them from holeshot motorsports its 500 with bar kit.

I think kricket is talking about the older bbr forks.
