I am putting an oil cooler and TB117 into a newer super pro setup. Are most guys just using the hose clamp to attach the cooler to the frame? Any attaching differently? Just wondering what works best. Thanks.

I tried attaching mine to the head and the aluminum bracket cracked within an hour of ride time. Not saying this will happen to everyone, but it happened to me. I'd say, attaching it to the frame is probably the most reliable bet.

I have mine mounted to the head with the lines on top, I also fill the cooler with oil every oil change. These little motors will not fill the cooler if the lines are mounted on the bottom it will just pass through the lower row doing nothing and taking longer for oil to get to the head on cold starts.

If these things help at all, which they may with plenty of air flow, you might as well mount it so it can do something.
