I think Nick needs to change the sites name to:

planet Trails bikes 88cc bbk questions.com

What a joke. look at the forums. this whole website should really be named that I think. Why does everyone ask the same f#$%ing thing

I wonder how many threads are there of this kit? (WAY TOO MANY)

It's human nature to ask questions rather then doing searches using the archives of the forums.

However, people need to do searches before asking questions, and you bring up a valid point.

You don't even need to do a search!

4 of the first 8 topics are about this, or trail bikes related anyways lol

All it tells me is that people don't want to pay for quality, but still have to post 600 threads a month on this kit.

Yea, its not the manufactuers fault if the person installing good quality parts botches the install or does something dumb. I still dont see how you can sit there and claim that TrailBikes stuff is not quality, my motor alone should be plenty proof enough of that. 150 hours of very hard use, and the only problem I have had period, is that I made the float bowl stick once from flatlanding a jump to hard. Other than that it still runs like new, and I stomp plenty of those other kits you say are better and of better quality into the dirt, and Mulisha can back me on that.

Nobodies parts no matter how expensive, what quality good or bad, are safe from someone installing them incorrectly or improperly.

50man,

One would think you would contact TB directly and work out your bad feelings towards them.

You purchased from a reseller who doesn't stand behind anything and supposedly sells TB parts under the Atomic 50's label, and yet you belittle a good company who would probably set you up if you contacted them directly. Take the time to make a call and better your situation, so others don't have to hear your unnecessary crabbing all the time.

You are in the minority on this topic for a reason, and it's up to you to get the issues worked out, rather than complaining and doing nothing about it.

After you contact TB and after you get the issues worked out, or not worked out, then you can have the ability to be more credible with your point of view.

Everyone else, if you have a beef with vendors, only post your experiences after you've made efforts with the vendor to make it good, as you'll find vendors want happy customers, and in most cases, if it is vendor error or a bad part, they will correct the issues. If they refuse or don't correct issues, then you have a case to complain.

Are we all on the same page now?

Dude you are a funny little man!

Whatever, I'm trying to help people not make a $420 mistake. I have installed several real kits with no problems, just because you get your kickback from tb, or whatever motavation you have to promote them so relentlessly, because I know it's not factual, just you uneducated opinion. What other kits have you run? I speak from facts, it is a fact that tb heads are poorly designed, and because of that the valves are are at improper angles, and the head will self destruct in time. Don't say I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to installing bbk's you little punk.

Now that is the funniest thing I have read all day long. For your information I have no motivation to promote them, I do so because it is a great kit for the money, the best customer service hands down, and because I have not had the slightest problem ever. And exactly where do you get the info that their heads are poorly designed because that is just stupid. I seroiusly think that if there was something wrong with the head, out of anybody who has purchased this motor, I would have already discovered it by now as I know nobody has more hours on it than me. Instead, you know what I have discovered, nothing, only that it runs perfectly and purrrs like a kitten all the time while Im beating guys riding high dollar kits. As for other kits ive had the pleasure of riding, well, Ive ridden a Kitaco 108 motor, a Lifan 105 special, still havnt got to try a Take Superhead yet, but have seen a Take 106 R-stage in action and raced against it. And as for saying you didnt know what you were doing installing a bigbore, I never specifially mentioned you, just said in general, but its obvious something was done wrong or it would have ran correctly.

But if you are going to resort to name calling and not discussing this in a adult fashion, then I will not reply and am done with this thread as I would rather not see it locked. If you have a problem with me and want to discuss it, do it through pm's.

I'm going to have to quote Mulishasympathizer (our PM resident legal expert) in this post, because I think it's appropriate here:

libel[1,noun]libel[2,verb]

Main Entry: 1li·bel

Pronunciation: 'lI-b&l

Function: noun

Etymology: Middle English, written declaration, from Middle French, from Latin libellus, diminutive of liber book

1 a : a written statement in which a plaintiff in certain courts sets forth the cause of action or the relief sought b archaic : a handbill especially attacking or defaming someone

2 a : a written or oral defamatory statement or representation that conveys an unjustly unfavorable impression b (1) : a statement or representation published without just cause and tending to expose another to public contempt (2) : defamation of a person by written or representational means.

If you defame or make accusations not based in fact, you can be held accountable for your statements. ie; If someone reads your statement and concludes to themself " these TB parts are no good " and it hurts their sales, they can sue you and will win.

Be careful of what you post. :!:

look your the one who came out with the personal attack saying that I don't know how to install a bbk.

Bottom line if you want to be immature by saying things like that, great shows what kind of person you are. I hope that everyone how reads this realizes that I don't like my kit, it is a P.O.S and that is not to say that if you buy one you will feel the same. jetTBster220 seems to be in love with his kit so you make can your own conclusion. I have never sugguested to anyone to get any of the kits i run, but I bet if you look up all the posts in jetsters profile I'm guessing that at least 80% of them are promoting the tb kit.

Ya know, you can say that all you want, but I never personally attacked you or mentioned your specifically, still havnt, you came up with that one yourself.

And yea, probably 80% of my posts are promoting TB, do I say its the absolute best, no and never have as I know it isnt. But for the money, it is the best. I have promoted more things than just TB parts, I have always said I like BBR forks over sik50's and given many reasons why, I have even promoted many differnt parts which I dont even have on my bike or some of which I havnt even rode myself, but do because I have seen other member that run it so happy with it. So to say I am soely in support of TB is false, they are just one of the companies that I happen to like their products and promote, and the reason you see it more, is that engine questions seem to pop up 5:1 compared to other questions.

And your right, this thread does show what kind of a person I am, and that is that when I talk I talk with facts and proof and do it rationally without name calling or making it personal. If somebody gets their toes steped on, so be it, it happens and cant please everyone. I am only here to help and inform, nothing more, nothing less.
