Hey guys, I needed new forks because I bent mine. Got them through the mail and I want to replace the seals and oil. I'm 160lbs and eventually I will do aftermarket forks, but for now I want to try and get away with heavier fork oil and maybe spacers. Any suggestions? I looked around the forum, but couldn't find a definite answer.

Stiffer springs and heavy oil will get you by for now.

I say the best bang for your buck is kx60 forks there were a few sets forsale in the classifieds nick Domangue had some

Many years ago I ran some some spacers I made out of pvc. I think they were about 1.5" long. Maybe longer though...
I'm trying to stay away from the heavier springs for now since I will be getting 65 forks eventually
I was getting those in the future, I almost bought some. For now I was wondering if I could just add some heavier oil wt to help the ride. Even if it helps only a little bit.
Do you remember what fork wt. you used?

Probably 30wt motor oil.
