not sure if anyone will agree with me, but on all my bikes that have aluminum hoops, i always need to check spoke tension before i go riding as they get loose. but the steel wheel with HD spokes i never need to check them as they rarely get loose, both aluminum and steel wheels i have are china wheels also. i recently bought some china crf50 clone wheels that are 1.6 inch wide steel units with HD spokes and cast aluminum hubs
